Travel 3: KK-Kudat (Tip of Borneo)

Oktober 8, 2009: Akhirnya sampai juga ke Tip of Borneo dalam misi jalan2 ke-3. Perjalanan pergi balik mula dari KK ke Tip of Borneo, Kudat, termasuk jalan ke pekan Kudat dan pekan Kota Belud sejauh 401KM.

KK - Kudat Trip 2009 - Gravel Road to Tip of Borneo
Nampak okey jalan gravel ni tapi lagi ok kalau di tar.. terpaksa jalan perlahan-lahan, kalau jalan dari simpang pekan Kudat ke jalan yang menuju ke pantai Bak-Bak pun rasanya sampai pada masa yang sama ke Tip of Borneo.. kesimpulannya, naik taraf (tar) lah jalan tersebut..

Training.. training.. modify code, extract data, data cleaning, transformation, discretize, write paper.. report.. etc, argh I need an escape for a while. Actually, while I am here at Sabah, I would like to visit all major towns via different route with any possible means of transport, what else.. my wira lah. This is my first mission from: 1. KK-Kota Belud-Kundasang 2. KK-Tambunan-Ranau-Kundasang 3. KK-Kota Belud-Kota Marudu-Kudat-Tip of Sabah-Kundasang 4. KK-Tambunan-Keningau-Tenom-Sipitang-Beaufort-KK 5. KK-Kota Marudu-Pitas-Beluran-Telupid-Ranau-Kundasang 6. KK-Tambunan-Keningau-Sook-Nabawan-Kalabakan-Tawau-Samporna-Sandakan-Telupid-Ranau-Kundasang Mission number 5 and 6 should be the last because the road may be not suitable for my wira.. hehe. In this journey, the road is easy from KK to Kota Belud but a little bit steep from Kota Belud Ranau-Tuaran junction via Jalan Ranau Bypass. DIY - Hyundai Inokom Atos Starter Removal

I replaced my Suzuki Jimny SJ410 starter sometime ago and it is quite easy because plenty of space in SJ410 engine bay. However, the Atos compact engine bay is really challenging for starter removal. Actually, a hard start had happened to Atos since few months and recently getting worse. Service centre diagnosed as starter problem. The battery is new but very hard to start especially after turned off the engine and need to wait for few minutes then the Atos can be started with two or three key turn. It is very annoying when turning off the engine while filling fuel at petrol station.  Wifey asked at service centre the new starter, guess how much.. RM1K++.. matai.. crazy expensive. Alternatively, have to go for third party starter and looking around Inanam, most of the car parts shops do not have Atos starter. Besides, I don't really know which shops have this starter.
