I went to this festival which held every year on November at Dewan Tun Hamdan, Tamparuli town. With very basic camera equipment, I find it a bit struggle to lock focus on standard lens  Olympus ZD ED 14-42mm f/4.0-5.6, however just enough for slow and steady photography. I hope my 12-60mm will works soon because still waiting for service fund budget. Today I'm using the E-3. Okay, start with movie first.. taken with Samsung S760 and please excuse me, I don't know how to shoot video because I'm more in photography =)

One fine day, I went to this resort to shot beach landscape. Although I have a pro body E3 but non high grade lens (my 12-60mm still waiting for a service fund hehe..), I always think that any lens still do wonder. 2mm difference is not quite noticeable unless super wide angle lens is used (9-18mm or 7-14mm). Olympus E-1 still produce some good portrait despite using only standard lens, the ZD ED 14-42mm. I wish I have the 50mm.

This is the first time I went to this event just to photograph the flag-off event only. I hope to follow or tag along anyone to shot full event next time, but that's seems to be impossible because I'm on my study leave so I have more important things to do first. Misi ke empat tercapai untuk melawat ke semua pekan utama di negeri Sabah. Misi ini bukan sahaja untuk melawat tetapi bercuti di negeri sendiri kerana banyak lagi tempat yang belum sampai. Kali ini, saya juga telah sampai ke Lawas Sarawak. Peta perjalanan dari Kota Kinabalu, Keningau, Tenom, Lawas, Sipitang, Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Papar dan seterusnya balik ke KK. Sambil memandu dan mengambil gambar agak susah.. sebab itulah tiada gambar yang cantik dapat diambil.. =). Ini ialah jalan Kimanis-Keningau yang mempunyai darjah kecuraman jalan di antara 14%-19%. Agak mencabar jalan ini terutama jika hari hujan dan berkabus. Nasib baik cuaca cerah dan sedikit mendung pada hari saya melalui jalan ini. Jalan Kimanis-Keningau mempunyai pemandangan indah.. Singgah di Taman Banjaran Crocker Pusat Semulajadi Crocker. Ingat, kalau dari arah Papar ke Keningau jangan masuk terus ke sini, sebab pejabat sebenar ada berdekatan dengan jalan raya besar saja untuk urusan bayaran masuk.
