Tagudon 4x4 Challenge

I enjoy shooting 4x4 challenge photography. Its a bit tiring for running all over to get the best shoots. and not to mention the mud when raining or under the hot sun. I grabbed my E3 and 14-42mm for the event at Kampung Tagudon Ranau. My 12-60mm is in the drybox due to problem of aperture stuck. Still finding time to send it to Olympus for service. It was actually raining towards the end of the day during the event. I didn't bring any umbrella and I thought that my 14-42mm will not survived in the mild rain, however it still working till now.   My lucky shot, the exhaust spitting a flame..

Welcome Kundasang in GoogleMap!

I always browsing the Google Map for a map and finally recently I found out that Kundasang is now visible in the map!.. quite happy anyway, now people all over the world can see Kundasang and its surrounding. This really good for tourism too. Actually I posted my entry before here: "MAP - Kundasang Map, Kundasang War Memorial Map, Peta Kundasang" and I don't know if Google Map read my entry because prior to my entry, the map is not visible like now. Kundasang in GoogleMap The larger view of Kundasang and its surrounding, snapshot made on August 10, 2009 Snapshot from GoogleMap with my sketch on June 21, 2009, which the detailed map was not yet available Well, my sketch map is not good anymore, better look at GoogleMap.. haha. Anyway, thanks GoogleMap Malaysia, this would definitely useful because lots of people are looking for Kundasang map.

Mangasok parai at Telupid

Mindahu - Olympus E1 + 12-60mm 'Mangasok': [proun] ma. nga. sok [/proun] is process to grow the 'padi huma', first by using a stick to make a small hole for the seeds. Padi huma will grow within few weeks without the need to worry about water and just rely on the rain. Blue sky with E1 + 12-60mm, edited on the lower left because of out of focus object. Olympus E1 + 12-60mm In my photography style, I tend to take  photo with slightly underexposed but that actually add more noise. In the post processing, I will just increase the highlight carefully to lessen the effect of the noise. The original photo of the above processed photo which the sky was already blue, then only done an auto level and contrast in post processing. My Olympus E1+12-60mm: Visit to Kinabalu Heritage Hotel (Perkasa Hotel)

My recent visit to Kinabalu Heritage Hotel (formerly Perkasa Hotel) after years I haven't been there and many things improved. The best part is the chalet in the wood. I normally shoot HDR using only two frames and merged them manually in photoshop =)
